Colombia Dentistry Retreat covers your transportation, accommodations, tours, and translation services. Your only additional costs will be for any extra treatments you opt to get not included in your original quote, example: you paid for a smile design, but you opted to get implants after a consultation. You will be responsible for paying for the implant procedure in full prior to the service. Also, we do not cover accommodations, transportation, tours, translation, for additional dental procedures that add to your time in Colombia. We, nonetheless, can continue to provide these services at a reduced price. Personal expenses, food, and transportation for personal affairs are not covered by Colombia Dentistry Retreat.

Or your companion and you can enjoy it together prior to your treatments. Depending on doctors’s orders you can enjoy a tour after your treatment as well.
33. What happens if I need to reschedule my dental appointment?
Answer: If you need to reschedule your appointment, please notify us as soon as possible. We will do our best to accommodate you, though rescheduling may depend on availability and the procedure you require. Refunds are not given after payment. Once we give you the ok to travel and accept your payment your treatment is customized and paid in full to the dental clinic to accommodate your appointments in advance and treatments. Colombia Dentistry Retreat also pays for your transportation, accommodations, translation services, and tours in advance to accommodate your stay. Once we pay our partners we cannot retrieve the funds. If you cancel your appointment, you took the opportunity away from another client who was willing and able to attend on the days you were given. Nonetheless, we can offer you a credit of the full amount paid and help you reschedule. All sales are final.
34. What happens if I miss my flight or my arrival is delayed?
Answer: If your flight is delayed or you miss it, please let us know immediately. We can adjust your appointment and accommodations with proof of the missed/delayed flight.

Answer: It depends on your nationality. Many countries, including the U.S., Canada, and most European nations, do not require a visa for stays of up to 90 days. Be sure to check the visa requirements based on your nationality before your trip.

Answer: You are free to arrange your own accommodations, transportation, tours, translation services (if needed). However, the price will not change as this amount is what the dental clinic charges for your proposed treatment. Everything else, mentioned above is covered by Colombia Dentistry Retreat.

Answer: Some discomfort may occur, especially with procedures like implants or extractions, but we ensure that our professional dentists will make your treatment as comfortable as possible. You will receive post-treatment care instructions, and pain management options will be available. We can do pharmacy runs for you as courtesy.
38. What if I want to pay the dental clinic directly?
Answer: The low cost, 40-70% off prices we offer our clients are made posible due to our team’s negotiating experts. Their expertise in negotating low cost prices with our partners are rarely to impossibly seen in other destination dental tourism companies in Colombia. If you try to do business directly with our partners (which they are not contractually allowed to) you will get what we call “Gringo” prices aka American prices. Expect to pay at least 50% more than our proposed prices. We do the negotiations for you so you won’t have to be taken advantaged of.

Answer: Colombia has a tropical climate, with temperatures ranging from 65°F (18°C) to 85°F (29°C) year-round. The weather varies by region—coastal areas are warmer, while mountain areas are cooler. The dry season (December to March) is ideal for tourism. We only service the Medellín area; therefore, we are on the mountain side where it feels like spring everyday.

Answer: Yes, you can extend your stay in Colombia. We can help you arrange extra nights at your hotel if you’d like more time to relax and explore. Just inform us in advance so we can make the necessary arrangements.
41. What types of dental materials do you use for treatments?
Answer: Our dental partners use the highest quality dental materials available, sourced from reputable manufacturers worldwide. Their materials are the same as those used in the U.S. and other countries with top-tier dental practices.
42. What if I find another company that charges less?
Answer: Although we can offer our clients lower prices than those in the USA, we cannot do the same for prices in Colombia. If you find prices lower than ours beware! Many destination dental tourism companies in Colombia partner with unlicensed dentists or licensed destists that use extremely low quality products that use low quality in order to obtain higher profit margins. Unlike us, they will charge for accommodations, transportation, tours, translation services, pharmacy runs (if offered, it’s usually not) etc. which in turn will have you paying double to triple the prices we offer. Beware of scammers!
43. Does Colombia Dentistry Retreat pay for their clients flights?
Answer: Yes, we do, per our client’s request. Because some clients travel with miles the service is not always needed. However, to those that don’t travel with miles we purchase flights in bulk, they are highly discounted; therefore, we are able to pass the savings on to our clients. If we puchase your flight, we prepare the Check-Mig form that travelers must complete before entering or leaving Colombia designed to speed up the immigration control process, free of charge. Our goal is to make your Dentistry Retreat as stress free as possible.

Answer: Yes, the clinics we work with are accredited and certified by Colombian dental associations. Our dentists are highly qualified, with many having international training and experience.
